DUE TO HUGE LINE UP of Pending Projects, we want our submitters to know that the review process will take as long as a month. It is for this reason, we have chosen to keep the prospects of accepting new submission open.
Theme : Word - Laughology
First of all - Yes laughology is an officially recognized word.
It means to bring out - Laughter's role in Human connection and development. Popularized by corporates in team building activities and training.
So, we'd like you to write a poem such that it makes one laugh. OR you may simply use the word in reference to an episode, person or place.
The meaning must make sense in the context it is used. We have observed, that a lot of submissions are using the word randomly just to meet the requirement, wherein the poem doesn't make any sense - such entries will be declined. Write a poem on the theme. We believe its a broad spectrum theme. A poem which just brought the pen in your hand and you wrote it down.
The book is a collection of prose poems
We want you to send us max two poems.
Please observe the following rules -
1. Make sure you add the name of the poem and your name in the word file you attach. For example, if the name of the poem is 'Lump Throat' and the name of the poet is 'Aks Furniturewala' then the file name must be "Lump Throat_Aks Furniturewala".
If the above isn't followed, we want you to know that either your poem will be declined OR there will be a chance of the author name missing with the poem or the wrong name being used (if your pen name and real name is different)
2. We need your bio for this compilation.
