Poems on a Phrase - Lost Cause

Ends on

Hello,                   Permanent  END DATE - 30TH MAY  2026                         Theme :  Phrase - Lost Cause

DUE TO HUGE LINE UP of Pending Projects, we want our submitters to know that the review process will take as long as a month.    It is for this reason, we have chosen to keep the prospects of accepting new submission open.

The poems that depict or bring out the meaning of the word, is what is sought by us.

Use the words 'lost cause' in your poem.

The meaning must make sense in the context it is used. We have observed, that a lot of submissions are using the word randomly just to meet the requirement, wherein the poem doesn't make any sense - such entries will be declined.                             Write a poem on the theme. We believe its a broad spectrum theme. A poem which just brought the pen in your hand and you wrote it down.

The book is a collection of poems that expresses an experience everyone goes through at some point.                                The title of this BOOK will be decided at the time of publication.                             We want you to send us max two poems.                               Please observe the following rules -                                1. Make sure you add the name of the poem and your name in the word file you attach. For example, if the name of the poem is 'Lump Throat' and the name of the poet is 'Aks Furniturewala' then the file name must be "Lump Throat_Aks Furniturewala".                                   2. We DO NOT need your bio for this compilation. In the Cover Letter, please share                               - your pen name or the name you would like us to use in the book.                                      The books we have published recently are -                              1.
