Poems Themed Around - Worldly Affairs

Theme : Worldly Affairs 

The poem can be about someone you know, yourself or a non fiction historic event - with a cause and effect verse attached to your work, if possible. 

You must specify the subject matter of your poem, that complies with the theme. 

The poems that depict or bring out the meaning of the word/phrase or use that word/phrase, is what is sought by us.                          Write a poem on the theme. 

We believe its a broad spectrum theme. A poem which just brought the pen in your hand and you wrote it down. 

The book is a collection of poems that expresses an experience everyone goes through at some point.                            The title of this BOOK will be decided at the time of publication.     

                    We want you to send us max two poems.                     

      Please observe the following rules -                           

 1. Make sure you add the name of the poem and your name in the word file you attach. For example, if the name of the poem is 'Lump Throat' and the name of the poet is 'Aks Furniturewala' then the file name must be "Lump Throat_Aks Furniturewala".                               

2. We DO NOT need your bio for this compilation. In the Cover Letter, please share                   

        - your pen name or the name you would like us to use in the book.                      

     - If you have read any of our books                     

  -  Whether this poem is simultaneously submitted elsewhere.                        

 - A Bio will be needed with your picture IF you opt for being showcased in our Blog Book.                   

     -  We'd like to have your Instagram handle for this compilation. 

This will help us tag you to posts related to your book on social media.  

 Mention In Cover Add On Option  

Being an anthology, names of all the poets who have contributed in the book are not mentioned in the cover design of the book. The add on purchase option, offers your name to be seen by the reader.
